The Fourth Annual Reno River Festival
May 10th –May 13th 2007

One of the nation’s top kayaking competitions is just around the corner!  From May 10th through the 13th The Reno River Festival will be celebrating its fourth year of success.  This weekend offers opportunity to watch kayaking pros from around the world compete, special demos, clinics, live music and a glimpse at the markets’ hottest new products.
The Reno River Festival is a kayaking event unlike any other in the United States.    This world-class kayaking competition takes place at the Truckee River Whitewater Park, in the heart of downtown Reno.  An exciting extreme water sport surrounded by the ever-evolving Reno Art District makes this a unique sports and entertainment event.   All of the excitement of the Reno River Festival takes place within walking distance of hot new restaurants, shops, ultra lounges, cafes, bars and art galleries.

A kayaking competition in the middle of a bustling 24-hour city?  The idea may seem hard to envision, but such a location creates a snapshot of what the Reno/Tahoe area has to offer; the perfect balance of exciting urban nightlife with an abundance of terrain for outdoors activities.

The 2007 Reno River Festival will include the following events:
