In addition to an outdoor heated pool and sauna, for exercise and fitness the property features a health club with free weights and equipment, walking and jogging tracks, and a driving range.

The 115,000 square foot casino at the Grand Sierra is the largest in Northern Nevada, offering dozens of table games, including baccarat, blackjack, craps, keno, Let it Ride, Pai Gow Poker and Pai Gow Tiles, roulette and Three Card Poker. The casino has a huge selection of slot machines, in denominations from one penny to one hundred dollars. The SuperBook race and sports book is expansive, with 27 big-screen TVs to watch the games and races on, a full-service bar, and hundreds of seats, including over 100 desks with individual TVs. The poker room has seven tables with a range of games and limits, plus tournaments are regularly held.

Guests never need to leave the property with a 70,000 square foot shopping mall right in the resort. There are over twenty stores inside offering sundries, clothing, jewelry and more, which is sure to please even the most demanding shopaholic. The Grand Sierra also features two theaters, an indoor 1,750 seat theater that regularly hosts headliners, plus an 8,500 seat outdoor venue, which brings in some of the biggest stars in music. There is also nightly live music at The Garage, a lounge and nightclub, with a rotating schedule of Jazz, ‘80s, R&B, and other musical styles.

The Grand Sierra has nine dining options, including two 24-hour restaurants: a traditional casino coffee shop, plus a Chevy’s Fresh Mex, which serves Mexican fare, plus has a special breakfast menu. Other options include the Steak House, Johnny Rockets, the affordable noodle shop Asiana, and Italian restaurant Andiamo’s.
